China Hutch And Dining Table
With Christmas just a week away I realized I better get back to sharing our home tour before I run out of time! Moving on to the dining room, this year I decided to keep the holiday decorating simple and to use neutral colors that tie in with the decor that's already in the room.
Sometimes all you need is the warm glow of candles and twinkling lights on a Christmas tree to make a room feel festive for the holidays.
Along with some garland and pretty ribbon tied in bows.
I love the natural beauty of pine cones so much that I may keep these seasonal additions around through the winter.
I have always wanted to add a few touches of magnolia and I am loving how it complements the faux pine branches. I may just have to keep this centerpiece arrangement around well into the New Year too!
Around this time each year, the house often begins to feel a bit cluttered with all of the decorations and I am in hurry to take it all down right after Christmas.
What I realized by keeping things simple is that I am not in as much of a rush.
Instead, I have really been enjoying the warmth and coziness the holiday decorations have added to our home.
This year I think I may actually feel a little sad when it comes times to pack everything away until next time.
If you would like to see how I decked out our dining room for the holidays in previous years you can find it here and here.
Thanks so much for visiting today and hope you enjoyed the Christmas tour of our dining room. I will be back very soon to finally share our back porch!
